Divisional Information
Here we have specialized units that support RCPD Operations.
Patrol Division
The Patrol Division is the backbone of the department’s daily operations. Officers assigned here respond to calls for service, conduct proactive patrols, enforce laws, and maintain public safety throughout the city. This division is led by Captain Matthew Milk.
Criminal Investigations Division
The Criminal Investigations Division is the division where officers are specialized in focusing on investigations, such as murders, or motor vehicle accidents; this division does not yet have a lead.
Special Weapons and Tactics
The Special Weapons and Tactics is the department’s tactical response team handling high-risk incidents such as barricaded suspects, hostage rescues, warrant service, and crowd control. This division does not yet have a lead.
Training Division
The Training Division is the division where the Officers are trained to train the lower ranking recruits / officers out in the field if necessary. This division handles the Ride Alongs and Field Trainings, however not the final assessment. This division does not yet have a lead.
